Do you know the delicious Vietnamese drink made with herbal jelly and chia seeds? In Vietnam, there are a multitude of refreshing drinks that are consumed as a dessert or simply as a light and tasty snack between meals. Herbal jelly (sương sáo (south) or thạch đen (north)) is said to have the ability to reduce heat in the body. So it's a perfect dessert when it's really hot.
Chia seeds are also among the superfoods that contain five times more calcium than milk, more iron than spinach, more potassium than bananas, and more vitamin C than oranges.
Product contains:
1 packet of herb jelly powder
3 packets of chia seeds
1 sachet of powdered coconut milk
sweet candy
Recipe for your quick dessert in 15 minutes:
Step 1: Soak the chia seeds in cold water, wait 10 minutes for the seeds to absorb water
Step 2: In a saucepan, put the jelly powder and water (20g of powder for 500ml of water). Heat over low heat in 10 minutes. Remove from heat and pour the preparation into a mold
Step 3: In a saucepan, put the coconut powder (50g for 250ml of water). Heat over low heat in 10 minutes. Remove from heat to cool
Step 4: Assemble your dessert:
Cut herbal jelly into cubes, put in ice cream
Add chia seeds
Pour in the coconut milk
Add ice cubes
